Psalm 119:81 "My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word." The Salar of Northwest China |
Welcome to the Salar of Northwest ChinaAdvocacy Page!
Tucked away among desolate mountains and living in poor conditions, the Salar people have been separated from hearing about the one thing that promises them Hope in life. They are one of China’s 55 Official Minority groups and have been searching for their true identity in Christ since they fled persecution in Central Asia during the 14th century. Today, there are NO believers among them, and they live without any witness of the gospel in their own language. The Salar know of no other way of life than the legalism that bonds them to Islam. This website has been created to place information and resources in your hands, so that you may better know how to help replace the darkness of the Salar world with the light of God’s glory - whether you live among them and know them personally, or whether you are involved in petition for their souls on the other side of the world.
